Annual Poetry Contest
The East Lake County Library is holding its 10th Annual Poetry Contest in honor of April as National Poetry Month. Entries are being accepted now until May 7, 2011. See below for information on how to enter.
Children's Group
Up to 12 years old |
Teen Group
13-18 years old |
Adult Group
19 and up |
| Poems can be on any topic, only one 8.5 x 11 page in
length, and typed or written legibly. |
Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place winners of each group.
1st place - $50 Gift certificate to Books-A-Million
2nd place - $25 Gift certificate to Books-A-Million
3rd place - $15 Gift certificate to Books-A-Million
Winners will be notified and all poets are welcome to our Awards Night on May 24, 2011 at the East Lake County Library in Sorrento at 6 p.m.
Entries are no longer being accepted. Entries were accepted through May 7, 2011.
