The Minneola Schoolhouse Library is a full service library offering materials for checkout, placing items on reserve from other libraries for pick-ups/drop-offs, children's and adult programs,computers for internet use, and wireless reception. The library has a Friends Group, the Front Porch Book Club,and Family Story Times. Come and check out our free magazine exchange.

- Bookmark Design Contest Deadline Extended
The Friday, February 24th deadline for entering the Lake County Library System 13th annual Bookmark Design Contest has been extended through the weekend. Entries will be accepted at any library location or if they are postmarked by Monday, February 27th.

- Festival of Reading Raffle To Benefit Library Programs
The 2012 Festival of Reading will feature a stunning hand crafted quilt and bag to be raffled to benefit future library programs. Both bag and quilt are 100% cotton by Wilmington Prints; the Nature’s Song design line, handmade by Barbara Morse a member of The Villages Quilt Guild, Mulberry Chapter, and created especially for the Festival of Reading. - Minneola Library announces a new Literary Book Club, which will meet on the first Friday of each month, beginning on 1/6/2012 at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome. The first meeting is an organizational meeting to choose upcoming books to read for 2012.

- Join us on Sat. 3/3/2012 for a Special Musical storytime for children ages 3-7 with Ms. Heather. The storytime will begin at 10:30 a.m.

- Minneola Library Kids Club will meet on Tuesday afternoons at 3:30 p.m. for ten weeks beginning 1/3/2012. We will practice reading to the dogs, and make some great seasonal crafts. This program is geared for children who are in kindergarten through grade 2. Call the library to register or for more information at 352-432-3921.
