Be My Neighbor Day Kindness Campaign

 Be my neighbor. Tiger.

WUCF, your Central Florida PBS TV Station, is holding their annual Be My Neighbor Day Kindness Campaign!

The campaign promotes family engagement, kindness and being a caring neighbor.

This year's campaign is 100% virtual.

Monday, February 8 - Sunday, February 28

Kids ages 8 and under are invited to enter online to win a bag of goodies with paperback books! One winner will be randomly selected and notified to pick up their prize at their nearest Lake County library.

Monday, February 8

Kindness Kits will be available for children to pick up at libraries in Central Florida counties: Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Sumter, Seminole, and Volusia. The kits are one per child, best suited for children ages 8 and under, and available on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Contact your local library for details.

The kits have family engagement activities, giveaways and useful information.

Kits can also be downloaded online here.

The Helen Lehmann Memorial Library in Montverde is not able to distribute kits. However, visitors may enter the building for library items and use the curbside service.

The Marianne Beck Memorial Library in Howey-in-the-Hills is currently closed and anticipates reopening on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. They will distribute the kits once reopened.

Thursday, February 11 @ 10am

Saturday, February 23 @ 10am
