This interactive event will feature a story time
by the Fruitland Park Police. Children will
also decorate Christmas cookies.

Would You Like Your Dog to Volunteer?

This is an informational workshop for humans to
find out if your dog is a good fit for a volunteer with
hospice patients and families. Registration is required.

Fruitland Park Library
Children's Garden Grand Opening & Dedication
Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019 @ 10am

The garden is in memory of Virgil Bell who
passed away in 2015 in Leesburg, FL at the age of 91.
Virgil was the father of current Fruitland Park City
Commissioner Christopher Bell and grandfather-in-law
of current Lake County Commissioner Josh Blake.
The new outdoor space will consist of lush paths
leading to a giant 12’ x 12’ chessboard and a sensory
butterfly garden featuring plants native to Florida.
