The Authors @ the Library program originally ran from September of 2008 to June of 2009.
Many exciting authors were featured in one of the Lake County Library System libraries each month.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Ron received his B.A. in Management from the University of South Florida and his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California. During his distinguished career, He was a university professor and held top manage-ment positions with several of the nation's leading computer manufacturers and system integrators. Ron currently lectures on man-agement topics and conducts workshops on assertive management.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Ms. Black spent the happiest five years of her life in a morgue. Strange, perhaps, but true. After ten years as a secretary, she went back to school to get a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Cleveland State University. In her job as a forensic scientist at the Cuyahoga County Coroner’s Office, she analyzed gunshot residue on hands and clothing, hairs, fibers, paint, glass, DNA, blood and many other forms of trace evidence, as well as crime scenes. Now she works as a latent print examiner for the city of Cape Coral, Florida, police department, working mostly with fingerprints, photography and crime scenes.
Lisa has lectured at writer’s conventions and appeared on panels. In her life as a writer she’s a member of Sisters In Crime, Mystery Writers of America, and International Thriller Writers. In her life as a forensic specialist she’s a member of the American Academy of Forensic Scientists, the International Association for Identification, the International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts and is certified by the American Board of Criminalistics.  Terry Odell was born in Los Angeles and now makes her home in Orlando, FL. An avid reader, she always wanted to “fix” stories so the characters did what she wanted. Once she began writing, she found that this wasn’t always possible, as evidenced when the mystery she intended to write rapidly became a romance. With her degree in Psychology from UCLA, she loves getting into the minds of her characters, turning them loose in tight spots and seeing what they do, and too often, they surprise her. Terry has numerous short stories published by The Wild Rose Press. Cerridwen Press has published three of her romantic suspense novels: Finding Sarah, What’s in a Name? and Starting Over.  Bob Gandt's flying career has been as eclectic as the subjects of his books. He has been a Navy fighter/attack pilot, weapons test pilot, flight instructor, air show performer, and airline captain. At age 20 he was, briefly, the youngest aviator in the U.S. Navy. As a carrier-based attack pilot, he logged over 300 carrier landings and nearly 2,000 hours in the A-4 Skyhawk. In 2002, award-winning journalist Gary Corsair published the first, and only, in-depth expose of the infamous 1949 Groveland Rape Trial. Now, Corsair marks the 60th anniversary of the sensational case that garnered world-wide attention with an updated version of his ground-breaking book. A Legal Lynching: The Sad Saga of the Groveland Four includes previously unpublished details and answers long-standing questions in recounting an unsavory piece of Florida history so controversial and far-reaching that it resulted in a Supreme Court ruling abolishing death as a penalty for rape.
Gary Corsair will discuss the complexities of an important, yet often overlooked chapter of Florida's tumulous race relations in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The Groveland rape case made international headlines and forced America to deal with the disturbing reality of "guilty until proven guilty" when a white teenage bride accused four African American men of kidnapping and raping her.
