Overdrive Circulation Goes Over 100,000!

Circulation of ebooks and audiobooks through Overdrive went over 100,000 during the month of January, 2013.

Lake County Library System supplies both eBooks and Audiobooks

Patrons can check out both eBooks and Audiobooks from our Overdrive website.  Go to mylakelibrary.lib.overdrive.com

New Titles added

The libraries now have 3,192 titles in the eBook collection. New titles include books by Bella Andre, Jefferson Bass, G. A. McKevett, Janette Oke, Katherine Hall Page, Tracie Peterson, and Ian Rankin.

Over 2,000 ebook items added since 10/01/2011

Since October 1, 2011, the libraries in the Lake County Library System have added just over 2,400 items to our ebook collections.  New items are added every month, and sometimes more often.

Maximum number of Checkouts increased

The Lake County Library System is pleased to announce that the maximum number of eBook items that can be checked out at a time has been increased to 5.

Harry Potter eBooks coming April 30th

All of the Harry Potter titles will be available in eBook format on April 30th, and patrons can place holds now.

Rock Harbor series by Colleen Coble

All five titles in the Rock Harbor series by Colleen Coble have been added to our eBook collection.  This author is known for Christian suspense.

Penguin eBooks

Penguin eBooks loaned for reading on Kindle devices will need to be downloaded to a computer then transferred to the device over USB. For library patrons, this means Penguin eBooks will no longer be available for over-the-air delivery to Kindle devices or to Kindle apps.
