Lake County Library System Presents Mel Bartholomew

Lake County Library System is honored to present Mel Bartholomew, the creator of the Square Foot Gardening System in FREE sessions. The first will be held on Wednesday, February 8th at 6:30 p.m. in the Lady Lake Public Library and the second on Thursday, February 9th at 7 p.m. in the Cooper Memorial Library.

Piatigorsky Foundation Concert

The Piatigorsky Foundation will be returning to the W. T. Bland Public Library (Mount Dora) to present a concert featuring classical masterpieces performed by two outstanding Piatigorsky Foundation artists: Katherine Calcamuggio, Mezzo Soprano and David Shimoni, pianist on Tuesday, February 7 at 2:00pm.

Festival of Reading Seeks Auction Items

Donations are being sought for the Silent Auction to be held during the Authors' Reception at the award winning Festival of Reading. The money raised will benefit future library programs.

Lake County Library System welcomes Cindy Strickland, Public Education Associate for Lake County Office of Information Outreach. Ms. Strickland will “Talk Trash” at the Fruitland Park Library on Tuesday, February 7th at 2:00 p.m.

Calvin Coolidge: “More Than Two Words”

Mount Dora and Lake County residents will have a chance to “meet” the 30th President of the United States, Calvin Coolidge, at two free performances at the Mount Dora Community Building on Monday, January 30th at 7 p.m. and Sunday, February 12th at 2 p.m.
