Leesburg Public Library Offers Adult Summer Reading

This summer anyone over the age of 18 can again join in the fun of a Summer Reading Program. Groundbreaking Reads is this summer’s adult program at the Leesburg Public Library, and we are focusing on an archaeological theme! Participants earn chances to win one of several prize bags chock-full of great items by reading books, listening to audio books, or attending special programs, including the Legendary Locals of Lake County at 2 p.m. on June 18th, Author @ the Library and special guest, Mary Anna Evans at 10:30 a.m. & 2 p.m. on June 25th, the October Mountain Washtub Band at 2 p.m. on July 6th, the Mote-Morris House History and Dig at 2 p.m. on July 16th, and Guitarist Tom LaVenia at 2 p.m. on July 23rd.

Register at the Library, 100 E. Main St., Leesburg, FL beginning June 3rd. The program runs through July 31st. Call the Library at 728-9790 x 3560 for further information.
