Job Seeker Workshops at the Leesburg Library

Workforce Central Florida is partnering with the Leesburg Public Library to offer four sessions of Develop You training to provide job seekers with a competitive advantage. The sessions on Tuesday, May 14th will include Access/Training with the Employ Florida Marketplace at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., Assessing Your Skills at 2 p.m., and The Mirror Looks Back: Applications and First Impressions at 3 p.m.

The two sessions of Access/Training with the Employ Florida Marketplace will provide an introduction to this online platform for job seekers and potential employers. Assessing Your Skills provides an overview of the various Workforce Central Florida online skills assessment tools available. The Mirror Looks Back will provide tips for submitting an accurate, error-free application.

Don’t miss this free opportunity to help you find, prepare for and land your next job!  All sessions will take place in the 2nd floor Technology Lab of the Leesburg Public Library, 100 E. Main Street, Leesburg. The training is free, but pre-registration for one or more sessions is required via e-mail to, calling 352-728-9790, or visiting the Library.
