Tavares Public Library
Scarecrow Fundraising Contest
Tuesday, Oct. 1 - Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019
All ages
Design and create a scarecrow that's at least 4 ft. tall.
$10 registration goes towards helping library programs.
Winner will be announced on Friday, Oct. 25, 2019
during the Tavares Boo Festival. Contact library for details.

Story Time with the City Of Groveland Firefighters

Cosplay parade, lots of exhibitors, scavenger hunt with prizes,
robotics & engineering, live rock performance by Villians and Virtues
and more! Plus, the first 80 visitors get a free 80th anniversary Batman comicbook!

Part of the Crafty Kids family program series. Make crafts with
the fancy folks from the days of yore. Meet characters from the upcoming
Renaissance Faire. Brief musical performances, character

Annual Pumpkin Chunkin’ Contest

Registered teams will launch pumpkins at a
target using catapults & trebuchets. Public invited to watch
