Marianne Beck Memorial Library’s annual open house will be held Friday, December 11 10am-5pm. Artist, David McChesney will display his black and white photographs on Florida Landscapes throughout the day.  Tracy Draper, personal trainer, bicyclist and author will be present from 3-5pm to read and autograph her new book “Live It”.  The book discusses her “teeny tiny triathlon”. A personal journey across the country by bicycle.

At 5pm we will kick off the Howey Christmas Festival in front of the library.  There will be a blessing by the local churches, presentation of the flags by the Howey Police Department and caroling lead by twins Brie and Brooke.  From the library we will walk to Griffin Park to enjoy the evening’s many activities which includes a boat parade, music, and food.
