Join us for TWO great holiday concerts at the Cooper Memorial Library from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on the main floor. On Tuesday, Dec. 8th, enjoy the beautiful sounds of the flute-tastic trio Three Flutes Only by Beautiful Music. Established in 1989, this ensemble originated within the Orlando Flute Choir. Repertoire includes Seasonal Favorites, Jazz, and Classical Genres. Classics such as Christmas Time Is Here, Jingle Bell Rock, Feliz Navidad, Let It Snow, and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree are among their requested holiday favorites. Performances include being featured at the following events and venues: Winter Park Art Show 1999-present with WLOQ 103.1, Disney Cruise Lines, Walt Disney Mickey's Christmas Party at Cinderella's Castle, Florida Hospital, Sea World Holidays, and Morse Museum Series in 2006-present.

On Thursday, Dec.10th, get ready for a fantastic concert with violinist Lori Jean Smith. Growing up in a professionally musical family, it was pretty much inevitable that she would play a musical instrument of some kind. Lori completed her BA in music from Cedarville University, and continued on to graduate with her Master of Music from University of Utah. Since then, although classically trained, she has developed a unique style, incorporating all styles of music into a variety of venues. Her motto is ‘artistry with passion,’ and she embodies the saying of J.S. Bach ‘I play the notes... but God makes the music.’
