Zombies, apocalypses, hurricanes, plagues...are you prepared? Learn what you need to do to prepare for the worst in an informative program on Wednesday, May 27 at 2:00 p.m. This program will be taught by a Disaster Assistance Specialist with the Emergency Management Division of the Public Safety Department.
The presentation by Lake County Emergency Management focuses on disaster and emergency preparedness for all hazards. Points of discussion include weather terminology; hurricane forecasting; emergency supply kits; evacuation; emergency contingency planning; and what to do before, during and after a hurricane.
