Filipino Martial Arts is a true warrior’s art covering the whole spectrum of combative science from empty hand, bladed and non-bladed weapons and ground fighting at long range, mid and close quarter combat. We will teach a few concepts that will translate into practical and powerful techniques. For men, women and kids.

Tai Chi Qi Gong for Health
Come join us and learn the ancient art of healing and wellness. Tai Chi and Qi Gong is a slow moving meditation with breathing techniques that will relax the body, invigorate the spirit and improve physiology. Opera @ the Library invites students and the public to attend educational programs, classes and discussions of opera and the operatic experience. Meetings are held in Room 108B. Norma Trivelli, Lake-Sumter Community College adjunct professor of foreign languages and voice, conducts the programs.

Poke'mon Gym: Official League
Middle School aged teens in grades 5th - 8th are invited to learn about and participate in an official Poke'mon League. Learn to play the card game by official rules. Participate in real tournaments, including DS tournaments. Official Gym Trainers oversee all trades.

The Pastfinders are South Lake County's genealogy group and welcomes you to their monthly meetings. Join us at 5 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month (except during the summer months) at Cooper Library in room 108. Membership is open to everyone interested in learning about genealogy research and preserving their family history.
