Sponsorship Information
This year our theme “A Taste of Reading” acknowledges that libraries do contain food for the soul. We have planned events with nationally recognized cookbook authors such as: Viviana Carballo, Havana Salsa; Maria Baez Kijac, The South American Table; Roniece Weaver, The Soul Food Pyramid; and Pam Brandon, a Diva of Dish and co-author of Confessions of a PTA Diva! (featured on the Today Show). We also have a number of “mystery with recipes” authors whose books have made lasting impression readers.
The Annual Author’s Luncheon with best-selling author Tamar Myers will be held at Lake Receptions on Friday, March 23rd. Tamar, published by HarperCollins, successfully mixes humor, mystery, and great recipes. She is the author of two ongoing mystery series, and 24 mysteries.
Lake County Library System is also on the Bermuda Schwartz Dark 'n Stormy World Tour for popular author Bob Morris’ new release. Also included are Nancy J. Cohen, Mary Anna Evans, Elizabeth Becka and Charles Benoit.
